Day 10: I am still in the hospital. I don’t do heart block anymore. The arrhythmia is getting better. But I still have to stay at least until tomorrow. I am always connected 24 hours a day to a computer. I cannot leave this floor of the CHUV. The walk that I can do is made up of two parallel lanes of 50m. I cannot move further away because the computer to which I am connected loses the signal beyond this distance.
The days are extremely long. I have an EKG in the morning which lasts 3 minutes and an antibiotic infusion in the afternoon which lasts 30 minutes. Otherwise nothing.
All because of a tick.
9ème jour: Je suis toujours à l’hôpital. Je ne fais plus de bloc cardiaque. L’arythmie va mieux. Mais je dois encore rester au moins jusqu’à demain. Je suis toujours connecté 24h/24 à un ordinateur. Je ne peux pas quitter cet étage du CHUV. La promenade que je peux faire est constitué de deux couloirs parallèles de 50m. Je ne peux pas m’éloigner plus car l’ordinateur auquel je suis relié perd le signal passé cette distance.
Les journées sont extrêmement longues. J’ai un électrocardiogramme le matin qui dure 3min et une perfusion d’antibiotique l’après-midi qui dure 30minutes. Sinon rien.
Tout ça à cause d’une tique.
