State of the feeds
RSS feeds are my main source of information.
I always find it interesting to discover feeds from other people. Perhaps you might uncover sources that you are not familiar with, which you can add to your subscriptions.

I consume them with Miniflux, an application that I host on a small VPS server.
Either I read them directly on Miniflux, or I use the Reeder Classic application.
Social feeds
To follow social streams such as Mastodon or Bluesky, I use Tapestry or Reeder. (I have a slight preference for Reeder). Using a timeline view feels more natural to me than a traditional feed reader.
