We experienced Sintra at the beginning of the tourist season and it was almost hell. It was already so crowded. I can’t even imagine what it must be like in the summer.
But it was truly magnificent. A paradise for taking influencer selfies.

I am unable to get the micro.blog iOS client to work with Indiekit. When I enter my site’s address, I encounter the following errors:
Whoops, an error occurred trying to connect. Please try again.

Sorry, we could not find the XML-RPC endpoint or Micropub API for your weblog.
However, the MacOS client works correctly.
Does somebody have the same problem ?
What a wonderful evening we had with the kids at Artis! A charming little restaurant in the Barrio Alto neighborhood in Lisbon.
Indoor Kid is an awesome font by Ellis Bojar and @djrrb
We have started watching season one of Resident Alien and we quite like it. It’s fair to say that it doesn’t take up much brainpower to follow but it’s really funny.
I just updated @indiekit and am testing to post a note to check if the upgrade works and to say that this app is awesome!
Thinking out loud: Making an oscilloscope app for the @playdate Would this be possible?
If you know…
After many years of use, I replaced my Logitech K380 with a mechanical keyboard, the Keychron K2 Pro. This is an entry-level mechanical keyboard.
I wanted to experience typing on a mechanical keyboard. After two days of use, my initial impression is that it reminds me of my childhood. I remember being in my father’s office, typing on our Commodore 64 keyboard.
The first things I noticed when exploring this world are that it can easily become a rabbit hole. Also, it’s not easy to find keyboards with a QWERTZ Swiss-french layout.
I would have liked to be pleasantly surprised by enjoying a Beyoncé song. However, I find that only the first 40 seconds of her new song “Texas Hold’em” are worth listening to. After that, as usual, it descends into being overly commercial.
Iconfactory has just launched a crowdfunding campaign to develop Tapestry. Tapestry is an app that combines posts from compatible social networks into one timeline.
What if you had one app that gave an overview of nearly everything that was
happening across all the different services you follow? A single chronological timeline of your most important social media services, RSS feeds, and other sources. All of the updates together in one place, in the order they’re posted, with no algorithm deciding what you should see or when you should see it. That’s what we’d like to build.
I hate switching from one app to another to see what’s new. Count me in.
Jamuary isn’t very glorious this year. I’m struggling to find time and energy to record jams.
For a long time, I searched the internet for information but couldn’t find it. Well, know that the THULE Force XT L roof box with the PowerClick mounting system is compatible with the roof bars of the DACIA Jogger.
I wasn’t awar of /uses

Here is a fascinating collection of individuals who actually have on.
Should I create one as well?
I’ve been testing Omnifocus 4 since its official release a few days ago, and I’m enjoying it a lot. (I didn’t participate much in the beta program). We’ll see if I continue to use it.
The thing I like least is undoubtedly the design, which I find outdated.
I love WorkFlowy. It’s truly a great tool. However, the task with the most friction is quickly creating a node when you’re not at your computer.
It would be fantastic to have a URL that allows creating a new item in a node. Something like https://workflowy.com/#/[nodehash]/new.
How do you quickly add a new item?
Currently, I use the mobile app and with my “Inbox” bullet among my favorites, there’s a button that allows me to add content. But something even faster would be welcome.
Note to myself: When changing phones, ensure all accounts and apps have been transferred before resetting the old phone.
GAS is high with the release of the new Teenage Engineering EP-133.
This thing looks awesome.

I really like this song: Pelican Canyon - Du Blonde & Samuel T. Herring
@help I can no longer log into my micro.blog account. When I enter my email address on the login page, I do receive an alert stating that the email has been sent, but I don’t receive anything in my inbox. I’ve already checked the spam folder. Is there something I can do to fix that?
@arrowtype has done it again. [He just released version 0.1 of the stunning new typeface, AT Lang Gothic](https://social.lol/@arrowtype/111370295440911002). As it’s an early version, the price is very advantageous. If you need a typeface of impeccable quality or simply want to support his work, hurry up !

Today, I learned that the sound of train announcements in Switzerland is based on the abbreviation of the national company.
In German-speaking countries, musical notes have slightly different names compared to English. The note ‘B’ in English is called ‘H’ in German, and ‘B’ is used for B-flat instead. Additionally, E-flat is referred to as ‘Es’.
The abbreviations for the company, are SBB (German), CFF (French), and FFS (Italian). Therefore, the chimes you hear at the stations before announcements reflect this. In the German-speaking parts of the country, the chimes are “E-flat, B-flat, B-flat” (Es-B-B). In the French-speaking part, they are “C-F-F,” and in the Italian part, they are “F, F, E-flat” (F-F-Es). The chime in the trains changes accordingly when the train crosses into a different language region.
You can hear the three different jingles in this video.
This is something I had never noticed before, and I find it awesome.
Grating carrots is one of the most boring things to do
It’s the season for modules with granular engines. On the same day as the release of Arbhar version 2, Qu-Bit announces the launch of Mojave, a stereo live granular processor. I am curious to see the possibilities this module offers.
