Another small eurorack module for sale, this time it’s the MCO MKI from ALM Busy Circuits. A small oscillator that has served me well, and maybe it will do the same for you.

I’m selling my ALM Busy Circuits MCO Eurorack module, a compact digital oscillator in perfect condition.

About the module

The MCO is a compact digital VCO that delivers that characteristic early 90s digital sound reminiscent of Ensoniq and Kawai KX synthesizers. It’s designed for those seeking a slightly crunchy digital character rather than analog emulation.
The module features a main morphing wavetable output, a second output with variable pulse width segments overlaid on the waveform (Alpha Juno-style saw wave PWM), and a sub-oscillator square wave output one octave below the main output. Both the waveform and pulse segment width can be controlled directly or via CV, and the pulse segment distribution is voltage controllable through the ‘type’ input.

Technical specifications

Despite its compact 6HP size, the MCO packs considerable sonic versatility. Its small footprint makes it ideal for smaller cases while delivering powerful digital tones.

Condition and contents

This MCO is in pristine condition, like new. The front panel shows no screw marks. The module has been owned for several years and always used with care in my non-smoking studio.
The package includes the module and the Eurorack power cable. The original box and mounting screws are not included.

Reason for sale

I’m selling this module solely to free up space in my Eurorack case, not due to any defect. The MCO works perfectly.
